PlateExakt is raantec's precision solution for printing plate mounting – the exact, camera-based positioning and mounting of printing plates on sleeves or cylinders.
Two high-resolution cameras (50x optical magnification) capture the register marks on the printing plate and position it exactly on the sleeve or cylinder. The "Proof" function shows deviations in millimetres directly on the monitor – for process-safe, repeatable mounting.
